Step by step, you follow your red thread along the river as it slowly snakes towards the sea. All the while, you enjoy the beautiful landscape, the sun, the sounds of the birds singing and the colours of the flowers growing along the river bank.

Every now and then a rustle coming from the nearby bushes makes you stop, your heart beating furiously for a few seconds. Then, reassured, the march goes on and the red ball in your hands gets bigger and bigger. Suddenly, the track you are walking on disappears and the red thread plunges into the water, forcing you to cross the river! Luckily, there seems to be a ford accessible enough and, afraid of losing your balance and minding every single step, you make it across. The path on this side is very easy going, and you find yourself almost jogging as the river gets closer and closer to the sea. A perfect sandy beach is in sight and you approach it with relief, but the moment you get your feet on the sand you realise that the red string is leading you right into the water once more: this time it’s the sea and, to follow it, you’ll have to dive in. Unsure about what to do, you look around and notice a scuba diving centre in sight where you can go and rent the appropriate equipment. You gear up and off you go into the deep blue, following that red line.

After a short swim, you become aware that an ancient ship is aground in the sand underwater. A dive takes you down for the few meters which separate you from the wreckage and, surprise: treasures of all sorts are in front of you. You are completely absorbed by the wonder you have found and would like to take everything back, but realise you are only able to carry one thing. After some plunging and a lot of thinking you decide that there are three objects you really would like to bring back with you: an ancient coin, a wonderfully decorated jar and a little bronze statue. All equally valuable, all absolutely beautiful. Which one do you choose?
